Palmer Park is located just off the East Racine Street, or Business US-14, Exit of Interstate 90. Right across the street from Blackhawk Golf Course and Blackhawk Park, Palmer Park is an expansive one-hundred sixty-four-acre park that gives access to Blackhawk Meadows Park and the Rotary Botanical Gardens inside of Lions Park. With a wading pool, courts to ball on, and picnic spaces, Palmer Park is an excellent place to get outside and enjoy Janesville’s numerous green places. Be sure to bring your kids to play on the ADA-accommodating playground!

With tons of space for your dog to run free, Paw Print Dog Park is a great place to bring your pup. With two separate entrance areas for small and big dogs, the park supplies water fountains and bowls to get your doggo hydrated. With a few trails to bring your dog on, the perimeter trail goes on for a mile and a half. Keep your pet in shape with the agility equipment and pool. Make sure to stay up to date with the pet fees and watch out for suspicious individuals entering the park without a dog.
