Gifts Thrift Store
Gifts Thrift Store works to aid Gifts Shelter to provide food, shelter, and rehabilitation services to the homeless men in Rock County, Wisconsin. To receive help, men must complete an interview.
Interviews are conducted openly Monday through Thursday from one to three in the afternoon. If a gentleman would like to transfer into the Life Recovery House, a few steps are required. After five months of living in the Life Shelter and proving to the staff they can be trusted, individuals are allowed to start the application process.
In order to be allowed in, the individual must commit to a minimum of six months, have worked their way to being a Senior Guest Supervisor with no issues for at least two months, be able to articulate their three-, six-, and twelve-month goals, agree to uphold all expectations set forth by Life Recovery House, and receive the approval of the A-team Member, Men’s Ministry Manager, as well as all current Life Recovery House residents.
